Kirsten Amann is a freelance lifestyle publicist and Public Relations Director for the Boston chapter of Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails.
Since 2006, Kirsten has partnered with Dalyn Miller Public Relations for most media campaigns. She joined from the editorial department at Adams Media where she worked on many of the publisher’s top selling books. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and she got her start in publishing through internships at The Kneerim & Williams Agency and Beacon Press. With DMPR, Kirsten has brokered major placements across both broadcast and print platforms including Teen Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, the National Examiner, and numerous placements on NPR shows around the country.
Kirsten also holds the title of Public Relations Director (“PR Broad”) for LUPEC Boston, and has placed numerous articles about the group in local and national media outlets including Tasting Panel magazine, Misstropolis, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, DailyCandy, The Chet Curtis Report, Stuff@Night, The Weekly Dig, The Boston Metro, BostonNOW, and Boston Daily (the Boston Magazine blog), among others. She has presented on behalf of the group at seminars and assisted at local culinary fundraisers such as Taste of the South End.
